Importance
A very persistent and troublesome weed. A problem in horticulture.
1. Large cotyledons with pronounced indent at the apex. Seedlings are uncommon in the field, plants generally grow from root fragments.
2. The true leaves are arrow-shaped with pointed lobes at the base.
3. A climbing perennial with funnel shaped pink and white flowers in clusters, or singly along the stems.
